Spain is the only European country to expressed any opposition to Trump’s attack on Iran, the others are struck dumb with awe, unable to even raise a whimper – ‘The Silence of the Lambs.’ Now they have some notion that Iran will give up the only bargaining chip it has, control of the Straits of Hormuz without any concessions. No way! Surely they cannot be serious. Surely it is al pretense. Iran is putting up with the systematic destruction of its country and murder of its people in order to prolong its control of the straits of Hormuz until Trump caves in to the demands of the rest of the world, (demands that have hardly even begun) among other things, like making Trump look stupid. Iran is holding out for an end to all sanctions, an agreement to never be targeted again by the twin psychopaths and reparations for all the damage, plus a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. They will only achieve their demands by holding the whole world to ransom. The more their country is destroyed and the more Iranians that are killed, the more determined they will be to keep their one ace card until they get what they want. If the US and Israel want Iran to come to the table they would do better to stop bombing and assassinating negotiators. The only way the Europeans can influence Trump is by the blunt force of sanctions – no military aid to the US war machine and the genocidal Israeli regime, but they will never do that, will they? The Europeans are far too dependent on the US to fend off the Russians. (that the US provoked into a war) The attack on Iran has nothing to do with democratic values. The gulf states all operate under the same Sharia Law as Iran. They all have a woeful human rights record, but they all go shopping the US, and believe me, they are big spenders. Maybe this war is all about the dawn of the post- democratic era,  all about securing energy supplies for Trump’s ‘Climate Fortress’. The Europeans, their colonies and former colonies are desperate to be allowed inside that fortress when the climate collapses, as it surely will, sooner or later. If you are not planning your strategy for post democracy, post climate collapse, post economic collapse, you are being lazy. The members of the United States of Epsteinistan (NATO, the 5 eyes and Israel) are way ahead of you!
