This referendum is not asking you if you think the voice will improve the lives of aboriginal people. The referendum is asking you if you think aboriginal people should be able to tell the powers-that-be how they would like to improve their own lives.
Can you see the difference?
The blackfellas know what has to be done, they just want to tell the government what they know, and know the government is listening.
If you don’t want blackfellas to be able to share their wisdom with the-powers-that-be, you should vote no, but that is a racist attitude.
If you do want blackfellas to be able to share their wisdom with the-powers-that-be, you should vote yes.
If you do want blackfellas to be heard, but you don’t think that the voice is the best way, you should vote yes anyway, because your personal opinion is irrelevant. The blackfellas are not interested in your opinion about what you think is best for them. They are not interested in that at all, not one little bit. In fact they are sick and tired of your patronizing, condescending bullshit!
It is the opinion of the blackfellas themselves that is crucial here, and if you have been paying attention you will know that most blackfellas have been crying out for a voice for generations.
Unfortunately many confused people have been getting mixed messages from the blackfellas they are listening to. Maybe that is because those blackfellas are a bit confused themselves, or maybe they are not fully aware of what the voice is about.
You should not take advice from people who are confused and/or ignorant, no matter how well meaning or the colour of their skin.
So do not take their adice. Take your advice from the trusted elders who know exactly what the oice is about, because they wrote the proposal.
It has always been the blackfella way to listen to the wise elders. It worked surprisingly well for thousands of years. Why desert them now?
On the other hand, maybe you are getting mixed messages from your favourite blackfellas, because they do not believe that the wise elders who created the voice, truelly represent most blackfellas, or maybe they don’t care what most blackfellas want, because they want something different.
Either way, you should still vvote yes because the voice is actually designed to find out exactly what the blackfellas want, and who they want to convey that to the-powers-that-be.
The voice legislation will establish a democratic structure where every blackfella in the land has a say in who will represent them,
And only those chosen leaders will hae the ear of government.
Nobody else will be able to say they speak for most blackfellas.
Not your self-appointed leaders with no constituency. (Lydia)

Then and only then, will we find out what blackfellas really want,
and that will be a great moment in our history.
If you feel you already know what blackfellas want, but you don’t want that yourself, because you think it might impinge on what you want, ( it’s looking like that could turn out to be most of us.) you should still vote yes, just to make sure you were right all along.
You can’t get your way by stifling the voice of the aboriginal people of this land. That is repression, and it has been going on far too long.
You can choose not to listen and block your ears, but you must let them speak.
