I have decided to take the high court to the high court,
so to speak.
One of the very first acts of the ‘Australian government’, which happened to be a military dictatorship at the time by-the-way, was to massacre as many of the local inhabitants of this vast land country, as they could lay their hands on. This, at the height of ‘the enlightenment’, whilst our French sisters and brothers were demanding liberté, equalité and fraternité, we were shooting blackfellas to feed our hunting dogs, and boiling their heads so we could sell the clean white skulls to Joseph Banks, who had some sort of fetish about them it seems.
Not something to proud of.
The result of this wanton slaughter was that the number of blackfellas throughout the land was reduced from a very unmanageable number ( around 1 million souls) to a more ‘manageable number.’ (around zero, give or take one or two that got away)
In this process genocide was committed against many, many peoples. Entire Nations were wiped from the map, and never spoken of again, to this day. Luckily some members of some nations managed to survive the holocaust. Whilst others were far enough from the front lines of these relentless wars, to remain relatively unmolested long enough for the invaders to tire of their bellicose antics, and begin to adopt more insidious but almost equally effective methods of subjugation and eradication.
On the day we whitefellas arrived in Sydney cove, some joker ran up the nearest hill and shouted in a loud voice,
“l proclaim this entire vast uncharted continent in the name of the king of England”
A stunt of such supreme arrogance it may well be unmatched in the entire long and vulgar history of arrogant English stunts.
At the time, the blackfellas outnumbered the English about 5,000 to one. But they were blissfully unaware of the ramifications of that little outburst.
Every law that was promulgated in this country since that odd and fateful moment on that windy hill, has been made with neither knowledge nor consultation, let alone the agreement of the original inhabitants. When ‘Captain Cook arrived on these fair shores, the blackfellas were obviously in the vast majority, so legally we should have been obeying the laws they made in their wisdom, over the millennia.
That’s how democracy works isn’t it? – so the Greeks tell me.
But what we did instead was systematically slaughter them, and replaced them with members of our own ‘party’. (in the parliamentary sense)
This sorry state of affairs went on way into the 20th century.
As we all know, the local blackfellas were only given the vote in 1967.
By that time their number had been reduced to a much more ‘manageable’ level. (Around 1% of the population) This outcome was achieved first by a ‘cull,’ followed by a relentless campaign of degradation, discrimination, assimilation, bigotry, racism, apartheid, persecution, intimidation, neglect and sheer brutal force , for generation after generation. Complimented with an example of brazen ‘branch stacking’ on a monumental scale. Shipping in wave upon wave of white, anglo-saxon pro-immigration immigrants. Millions of them!
That’s hardly fair, now is it?
So the tack l intend to take, along with my phalanx of hot-shot lawyers straight from the Mabo case, is quite simple.
Every single law promulgated since that odd and fatefully day on that lofty hill on the banks of Sydney cove, is demonstrably invalid.
Laws based on genocide are not valid laws!
Never were and never will be!
Killing off your opposition until you have a clear majority is not democratic.
It is cheating. It is not fair! It is wrong. A wrong that must be righted.
The descendants of the victims and survivors of those countless genocides and attempted genocides and humiliations and degradations and persecutions and assimilations, must be given the right to represent the wishes of the people who were killed off before they had a chance to fill our parliament with an overwhelming majority of law makers.
Every law ever made in this country under the name of ‘The Crown’, without the agreement of the original inhabitants, is not and never will be a valid law.
Fortunately this dire state of affairs is easily remedied.
We simply invite the descendants of the original inhabitants to have squiz at the laws passed since 1788, and let us know which ones, if any, are acceptable, and which should be expunged and replaced with better laws that truly reflect the wishes of the owners of the land we stand upon today.
What do you think, is it worth a crack?
