SHOULD SHE BE SACKED FROM THE TEAM?

Who is the real racist here? I get the distinct impression that your real objection to Ms Kerr is based on the colour of her skin. No impartial person would suggest one of the best players in the world should not be the captain of one of the best teams in the world, simply because of a rather rude remark she made at a time of great stress. That sort of reasoning would preclude every member of the human race that has ever lived, with the possible exception of Mother Teresa and Jesus Christ, neither of whom were adept at playing football.

What absolute bollocks! As if anyone gives a hoot if one of the best footballers in the world says a rude remark to a policeman. As for the damage to the taxi. If you have no understanding what it feels like when you think you are being abducted, or what it feels like to be a brown person in a white world, then you are probably so insensitive that you don’t know how racist your attitude appears to be to the rest of us.

I doubt even the Queen of England would blanche at being called stupid and white. I imagine she would politely reply, “well yes, I will admit to being white, not my fault! but stupid, I am not.” and that would be the end of it, unless the press got wind of it of course. Then it would instantly be thrown to the vultures. That is you, by the way.

TALL POPPY SYNDROME

I fear you are suffering the malady commonly referred to as ‘the tall poppy syndrome.’ This affliction tends to afflict those who are wracked with jealousy and envy of anyone who has gone beyond the claustrophobic confines of the internet and ventured  out into the real world to make something of their lives. A course of action I personally recommend for withered and stunted  shrinking violets such as yourself.

Then we have some less antagonistic, more reflective and considered comments:

RACIAL STEREOTYPES

Racism reinforces racial stereotypes in order to maintain races in their places in the pecking order. A white person typically sees themselves as a superior being at the very pinnacle of that preordained order. But non-white people, (people who have some colour in their skin) typically view white people (people who’s skin is drained of colour) as being the embodiment of racism. Not necessarily individually, but as a race, white people are seen as a racist race. So when they call somebody ‘white’ they are suggesting that person perpetuates racism, either consciously or unconsciously. So to call somebody ‘white’ you are calling out the racist attitude you see in them. Therefore, to call a person ‘white’ is actually an anti-racist slur.

CONTEXT

Let’s put this in context. When we call a person ‘white’ as a racial slur, we are calling out their racist attitude towards non-whites. That is not racism, that is anti-racism. To make a racist statement, someone must find it extremely offensive. For a white policeman to claim he was extremely offended when called ‘white’ is patently absurd. It is nigh on impossible to offend any officer of the law, let alone a white man of many years experience. They have very thick skin. PC Lovell is obviously lying when he says he was offended, and that is perjury. The entire case should be thrown out on that basis alone. As for being called stupid, well that is a prerequisite for the job. If the law states that any racial slur is racist, then the law is an ass!

Racism is about putting races in their places, and keeping them there. So if you abuse someone at the bottom of the pecking order you are maintaining the racial hierarchy, and that is racist! If you call a person ‘white’ you are suggesting their behaviour is helping  the white race stay at the top of the pecking order, and reinforcing their belief in their racial superiority, and that is not racist, that is anti-racist!

So to call somebody ‘white’ you are calling out the racist attitude you see in them. Therefore, to call a person ‘white’ is actually an anti-racist slur.

Sam Kerr is Australian. Just last year here in Australia, we had a national referendum to decide if  the ‘blackfullas’ (a colloquial term the indigenous people here often use to describe themselves) should be granted some say in how their lives are governed. The entire country answered as one with an emphatic NO! Thus reaffirming our membership of The League of Racist Nations, one of many.

While our particular brand of racism is directed most cruelly and venomously at the blackfullas, it is a broad church, happy to include all non-white races, no matter their complexion. If you have even the slightest shade of brown, you will be vilified. Only those of a pallid and insipid complexion, drained of all colour, will be spared.

Racism is a relatively new concept, beginning as an irksome but necessary weapon in the golden age of colonialism that began in 1492. While discrimination was obviously rampant before that, based on ethic, cultural and above all religious affiliations,

the colour of your skin was relatively inconsequential.

When western Europeans, good Christians one and all, ventured out into the big wide world in order to plunder it, they were forced to commit some extremely gruesome and depraved acts, like genocide, repeatedly. In order to justify this wanton depravity to themselves, they had to turn the happy and relatively innocent races they came across and slaughtered en mass, into savages not worthy of being considered members of the human race, and therefore expendable. The only means of survival for the hapless natives was to become Christians. Their conversion instantly making them no longer wild animals of the forest, but fully fledged human beings. A miracle! God works in strange ways, as they say. Ironically enough, to be considered a human being one had to embrace the wholesale genocide of your own people and anyone else you happened to come across in your travels.

The racial steriotypes fostered durijng the colonial era, are meticulously maintained to this day, in order to keep the ‘natives’ from rising up and slaughtering us in our beds, then taking back all our precious treasures. (our ill-gotten gains)

Sam Kerr is not a blackfulla, she of Indian decent. Before the notorious  East India Company, a privately run kleptocracy on a multi-national scale, began the systematic rape and pillage of the Indian subcontinent, way back in 1860, India was one of the richest places on earth. By the time they were usurped less than a century later in 1947, it was one of the poorest! A text book lesson in how colonialism works in practice.

Baring these facts in mind, we can hardly condemn Sam for directing a mild and inoffensive racial slur towards an official representative of the nation that stole her ancestors’ birth-rite, a white man who has made it abundantly clear by his treatment of her, that she must be kept in her place on a lower wrung of the ladder than himself.

HOME GROWN COLONIALISM

We white folks arrived in this paradise with a vision of green grass as far as the eye can see. We immediately set about felling trees and felling the locals. Now that irksome task is complete, we welcome all grass loving animals to come and share the bounty of our labour, as long as they don’t mind being eaten afterwards.
